How to arouse woman

A recent survey featured in Parenting magazine has found that 15% of women are aroused when their partners pitch in around the house.

Why is this? Well, aside from the fact that some of us simply enjoy the sight of a man in an apron. Women actually love their own version of Mr. Clean. Even though the majority of women now work outside the home, most of us still perform the bulk of household chores.

While it is unfair to ask a woman to do more hours of housework a week simply because she is a woman, most people find that this gender role is hard to escape... and women themselves are not blameless in how these roles play out in their relationships. After all, so-called "man" chores, like cutting the grass, changing the oil, or taking out the trash are still often relegated to the male of the species. Not to mention, some women suffer from the "do-it-all" syndrome, which further prevents them from handing over the mop.

Indeed, being in charge of the household chores means that we get to be in control-we get to decide how the towels are folded, where the mop resides, and when to dust. Sharing the chores with our spouse means relinquishing some of this control, which can be difficult for those of us who like things to be done "just so." Unfortunately, by refusing to share household responsibilities and adding more things on to our plate, we are increasing our own stress level and putting strain on our relationships. Women need to be willing to hand over the mop once in a while, even if it means that the floor isn't as perfect and shiny as when we mop it!

But what happen if your partner isn't willing or eager to share the mopping duties? Positive reinforcement does much more good than nagging. If you want your partner to wipe up his dinner crumbs, ask him once and then leave it alone. When and if he cleans up after himself, reward him with his favorite treat... in the bedroom. Within a couple months, house cleaning will be akin to the ringing of Pavlov's bell, and the sound of a vacuum might just get him drooling!

Remember, a partner who loves and respects you will agree to pitch in more around the house after all, it's his mess too. Well, it's all about love... :-)

My prerogative

Prerogative, in modern culture, it is known as Egalitarianism. One's way of self-determination on doing things they want.

It's my prerogative. I can do what I want to do. It's my life, now or never. I have to decide. It's been bothering me every second. Yet, it's a decision that I can't regret.

When I sleep, I'll dream about it.
While driving, I'll be talking to myself and got the same answer! :-P
Been asking my angels, the answer is : "We'll support you all the way, mama". I love you girls. Everything that I do in this life is for the three of you.

Giving myself a break, I shall continue in my next post. Serabut dah ni! :-)

Talentime

It's about love, between two young hearts with a different backgroud.

A talent search competition has matched two hearts - that of Melur, a Malay-mixed girl and an Indian male student, Mahesh.

Melur, with her melodious (Atilia's voice), singing whilst playing the piano is one of the seven finalists of the Talentime competition of her school organised by Cikgu Adibah. Likewise Hafiz, enthralling with his vocalist talent (Aizat's voice) while playing the guitar, dividing his time between school and mother, who is hospitalised for brain tumor.

Talentime seperti satu filem muzikal ala-ala Hindustan versi Malaysia yang tidak ada tari menari. For Hindustan & Yasmin fans out there, they would have enjoyed the movie.

I hope that Yasmin the director , please change the plot in your next movie. It doesn't look like a trademerk of yours, but it looks like you are manipulating the same plot from one movie to another. Just giving a general comments and having said to improve our local movie industry.

But what's the ending of this movie? Who won the competition? Mana pergi lagi 4 orang finalists?
Or Yasmin the director is planning for Talentime the second?

Think thoughts of perfection

Think thoughts of perfection. Illness cannot exist in a body that has harmonious thoughts. Know there is only perfection, and as you observe perfection, you must let it come to you.

When we think negative thoughts, we are actually cutting ourselves off from rightful heritage.

You can think your way to the perfect of health, the perfect body, the perfect weight and eternal youth. You can bring it into being, through your consistency of perfection.

Try this, as I always focused on seeing my body as flexible and as perfect as a child's and every stiff and aching joint vanished. I literally did this every night, after my pray and it works.

Proven? Definitely! I sleep at 2-3 am everyday and manage to wake up at 6.00 am. I can still walk 3km daily before off to work while get some short nap whenever needed (3o minutes). Treat myself a good massage biweekly to tone my muscle and I am in a good shape & good health. Alhamdulillah....as long as I maintain my "thoughts of perfection", it will all be summoned to me.

18 April 2009

Sorry for those who can't read in Bahasa Malaysia. This came in sudden and I feel like writing it down. Will translate if I feel like to :-P

Ingin aku melakar kisah cinta ini
Ingin aku berkongsi denganmu
Semua tangis, tawa, jerit dan perih

Kau curahkan kasih
Kongsi bahagia

Ketika nafas terhenti kelak,
Hanya kaulah yang terbaik buatku dan aku adalah yang terbaik buatmu jua.

Maafkanku jika aku tidak sempurna....
Hanya kasihmu yang mampu membawaku ke syurga.

My new routine

My mom been hospitalized since Monday. Nothing serious actually....Insyaallah...
I have to change my daily routine from straight to office after sending my girls, to visit her at hospital when later off for appointments (meaning I have to skip route to office). Fetch my girls from school at 4 pm. In between juggling house chores, I'll peep my mom again before sped off to send my girls for tuition class at 8 pm...ha ha... enjoyed myself chauffeuring around though... :-P

The most stubborn daughter I have been, my mom have no choice but to let me take care of her other than my dad because my sister is still in confinement (it's been 15 days) and brother is far away in Nova Scotia ... :-)

Adding more? My daughter fell ill last Thursday...I can't go to work. Have to cancel all my appointments and I was actually smiling over things happened. Know why? Because I have to rescheduled again!!

Here goes.....

Sent my girls to school, ran down to hospital to update what the Doctors commented on my mom's condition then back home to cool down my daughter's fever and back to hospital again when later stop by at school before heading home. Late evening stopped by at hospital... that made me smile as I think back what I did last couple of days... :-)

It's all about love... my love towards my angels and my only mom.

p/s: times like this, I really need a hubby...well, at least to take over the steering so that I catch a short nap... :-P
